Product Overview

Coupons.com was built to provide shoppers with manufacturer’s coupons to save money on groceries and household items. Instead of cutting out coupons from newspapers or flyers, shoppers could print coupons from home using coupons.com. But More and more customers abandoned their printers in favor of a more convenient, exclusively digital, click-and-save coupon experience. With the rise of smartphones, there was an even more dramatic shift as well as demand from consumers for digital coupons instead of the traditional print coupons.

As a new, coupons.com feature, ‘Card-linked offers’ will help to promote storewide discounts and reach millions of people who engage daily with our site, coupons.com, our mobile applications or the thousands of affiliate sites across our publishing network.

My Role

Started with research and ideation. Worked on uncovering insights and translating concepts into features that address customer behaviors and motivations. Conducted daily meetings with stakeholders (PMs and engineering) on defining the product and reviewing the progress. Worked on creating personas, use cases, work flows, wireframes, prototypes and final high fidelity mockups.

Goals

Coupons.com have to integrate digital offers with the core Print-at-Home experience on mobile app, web and desktop but mobile first.

  • Increase number of Credentialed Users (knowing consumer’s PayPal account or loyalty number)

  • Drive traffic and additional purchases

  • Increase number of Digital Offers Users
